Hotshot Profitability Estimator

This is a rough “real-world” calculator. It uses today’s common rates (around $1.00–$1.25/mi) with a rare “good load” (around $1.80/mi once a week or once every two weeks). Results depend on your market, lane, negotiation, downtime, and discipline.

Assumptions (editable): We estimate maintenance by trailer size (covers tires/brakes/repairs/consumables). Smaller trailers usually have less flexibility, and CDL generally opens more/better lanes — so we apply a small rate adjustment. This is a planning tool, not a guarantee.
*This estimator is for educational purposes only. Your real numbers will vary by lane, downtime, deadhead, insurance, factoring, permits, repairs, and your negotiation. Always build a cash buffer.
